Bitcoin gave traders a cleaner-looking chart on July 4, climbing above $63,000 and reversing the losses that had closed out June. CoinDesk put the move at roughly 1.4% over twenty-four hours and 3.6% over the week.
The rebound came with a friendlier macro backdrop and a recovery in other major tokens. Bitcoin.com News also linked the move to returning ETF inflows and a short squeeze, while Crypto.news reported an end to a run of ETF withdrawals.
The holiday caveat
US Independence Day is not an ordinary institutional trading session. CoinDesk specifically noted thin holiday activity as a factor that could amplify price changes. A market can move sharply when fewer participants are available to take the other side.
That does not make the rally imaginary. It changes what can reasonably be inferred from it. A price break in a thin market is not the same evidence as sustained demand across several full sessions with deeper liquidity.
The confirmed story was a return above a watched level and an improvement from late June. The stronger claim—that the market had decisively finished its correction—still needed more trading days. Bitcoin had regained ground; the calendar had not supplied a warranty.
